SBVC (6-4; 4-3) collected almost 500 yards of total offense, 300 yards were on the ground as they ran all over the Monterey Park East Los Angeles Huskies (3-7; 2-5), 42-14.

SBVC knew they were out of the playoff picture going into the game, although the post-game extracurricular activity of the Conference's top seeded team does give them an outside shot of making it should they get bounced. This was a pride game for both teams and it was also Sophomore Night and Homecoming for SBVC.

For the third consecutive game, SBVC had two running backs with over 100 yards rushing, sophomore running back Kendrick Dorn (Rancho Cucamonga Los Osos) had 19 carries with 138 yards rushing and two touchdowns and sophomore running back Alijah Watson (San Bernardino Cajon) rushed 11 times for 117 yards and a touchdown in the victory.
