Coach Shannon Glover begins his third year as an assistant with the San Bernardino Vallley College women's volleyball program, bringing his more than 30 years of experience to the program.

He began his coaching journey at the high school level, coaching both the boys and girls teams at Upland High School from 1994-2000, before moving to Ayala High School for a year. He has had two stints as the varsity head coach at Los Osos High, first from 2003-07, then again from 2020-23.

Glover is also an active coach at the club level, coaching with the Rancho Valley Volleyball Club - where he continues to coach when not at SBVC. With Rancho Valley, he has had three teams medal at the Junior Nationals at the under-14 level, winning a silver medal in 2015, and bronze medals in 2017 and 2018.

Glover graduated from Cal Poly Pomona with a bachelor's degree in sports medicine. He held his certification as an athletic trainer through the National Athletic Training Association, and spent nearly 20 years as the athletic trainer at Los Osos High School.
