The San Bernardino Valley College women's cross country team will keep on running this fall.
With a 15th place finish at the Southern California Regionals at Naval Training Center Park in San Diego, the Wolverines qualified for the California Community College Athletic Association State Championships on Nov. 22 at Woodward Park in Fresno.
Coming off her Inland Empire Athletic Conference championship run, Callie Frias continued leading the way for the Wolverines. She finished with a time of 20 minutes, 25.87 seconds for 42nd overall in the field of 147 runners on the 5-kilometer course.
Six spots behind her was Priscilla De Leon, who stopped the clock with a time of 20:52.22. Ashley Reyna was the next to finish for SBVC, as she crossed the line in 68th place with a time of 21:23.48.
Closing out the scoring five for the Wolverines were Liliana Wilson (86th, 21:56.05) and Emma Fierro (92nd, 22:14.21).
